Immunity law passed in Italy Yesterday

I was sorry to see that this immunity law described below granting Italian leaders freedom from prosecution was passed on 22 July 2008. There are many reasons why leaders should not be immune from prosecution such as to ensure they will do right by their countrymen. I love Italy, but I can think of a time a little over fifty years ago when two European leaders got out of control, forcing their people to be subjected to Fascism and Nazism. Certainly todays leaders are different, but I fear that such movements could arise again if leaders are not held accountable for their actions.

Italy's Parliament gave final approval Tuesday to a contentious law that grants immunity from prosecution to Premier Silvio Berlusconi and other top Italian officials."

Even when countries do not hold their leaders accountable, I presume there are higher European and World Courts that would do so.

When will the U.S. State Department Issue Passports to Abducted U.S. Citizens?

I have been told by Ebony York at the U.S. Office of Children's Issues in 2005 that the U.S. Embassy would not issue passports for my U.S.-born children who were retained adversely abroad. I am now told that my son is eligible for a U.S. Passport because he is 16-years-old but that the youngest child will have to wait until she is either 14 or 16-years-old. My latest letter by Ms. Cherry states that I must see the rules on the State Department's web site, but she makes no commitment in a letter. It is a violation of U.S. Civil Rights to deny a child who was born in the U.S.A. and raised the first eight or twelve years in the U.S.A. an American Passport to re-enter the country. This also brings into question issues such as international adoption and whether or not it is just to adopt a U.S. citizen child to a new family in a foreign country when such a child has rights protected by the U.S. Constitution. Does the Hague extend its power into the United States in a manner that would deny U.S. citizens of all ages their rights?

Is there someone in the legal field who would be interested in exploring these issues: international adoption and the refusal to give abducted U.S. citizen-children their rightful passports?

Privacy Act Request Never Fulfilled For Parent: Abduction in Italy Case

On 5 February 2008, I made what was probably my sixth request for a copy of my files (regarding my children) which are being kept at the U.S. State Department, the Office of Children's Issues, and the U.S. Embassy in Rome. It is now 4 July 2008, and I have not received a reply to the request that is posted. Not only have I mailed certified letters to make requests, but I have also spoken to Margaret Gold in Washington D.C. The letter included with this brief article is the latest in a series of attempts to persuade the U.S. State Department to abide by the law. The first attempt to get my files was made in March 2005. I will continue to write additional requests; however, I did successfully obtain some documents from Honorable Charlie Norwood's office in 2006, only to discover that much of the correspondence originating from the U.S. Office of Children's Issues which was mailed to Honorable Mr. Norwood had been removed. I knew the documents had been removed because I had previously had copies and access to the file in Toccoa, Georgia.

Apostille Divorce Decree of Sweeney-Villa Divorce: Abduction in Fiuggi

Here is a photo of an Apostille copy of the Sweeney-Villa divorce decree. This was signed willingly by Gennaro Villa, a permanent resident alien, in the United States in 1997. The U.S. Office of Children's issues did not tell me one could apply for the Apostille copy. I had to speak Italian and learn this from people in Italy. Foreign embassies and consulates do advise their citizens of this decree. It is amazing to consider that the U.S. Government does not protect its own citizens by giving them this information, but--on the other hand--I can take a look at the Iraq war and how the U.S. Government has sent out boys off as mercenaries. I can always brag that I was totally oppposed to the Bush presidency and the war in Iraq and that, because of my opposition, I have been criticized and even had my house investigated without a warrent (in Monroe,Georgia) by law enforcement. Law enforcement never found anything since I am totally opposed to drugs and exploitation of humans in any manner. At that point, I had to take refuge in the city of Atlanta.

I am not attorney, but you can call me if you need help registering an Apostille divorce decree, especially since the U.S. Office of Children's Issues isn't doing it's job.

US Office of Children's Issues Misinformation Campaign

This letter was sent by Ms. Ebony York of the U.S. Office of Children's Issues to late Charlie Norwood in 2006. This letter is a part of a misinformation campaign against the children of Dr. Sweeney, Georgia residents. Many other letters like this have been mailed to Barrow, David Scott, John Lewis, Senator Nelson, Lois Capp and others.Note that it fails to mention that Dr. Sweeney has sole, permanent custody (as a sole managing conservator for all three of her minor children) and a custody contract signed (in the U.S.) by the abductor who is a permanent U.S. resident; it falsely states that she lost custody in a Hague Trial; however, no such trial, hearing, or other tribunal ever made any lawful order changing the custody contract and divorce decree from Waycross, Georgia. The trial court in Waycross, Georgia (U.S.A.) has a continuing and ongoing jurisduction with venue. Georgia is and remains the Villa children's habitual and natural residence and home state. Please note that portions of this letter were masked (cover up) by Charlie Norwood's staff when it was forwarded by mail to Dr. Sweeney.
Dr. Sweeney made a Freedon of Information Act request to late Charlie Norwood's office. This letter had been removed (redacted) from the historical record along with other correspondence from the U.S. Office of Children's Issues.
This information was calculated to do Dr. Sweeney harm and misrepresent the facts to Georgia State officials and Governor Sonny Purdue. They characterized Dr. Sweeney as a desperate mother unwilling to accept the reality of her legal failures in Italy. They lied; they lied; they lied to cover up the U.S. Office of Children's Issues ineptness and mistakes and a secret agenda. The U.S. Office of Children's issues has traded off citizens rights for diplomacy.

The Primary Custody Contract Signed in Georgia: The Hague Waiver and Abduction in Fiuggi, Italy

I promised I would post my custody contract signed by Gennaro Villa in Waycross, Georgia, September 2007. Members of the F.B.I. assert that the Hague Treaty has the power to negate a United States custody contract that was agreed to in person on U.S. terrain. Additionally, the "Hague" has the ability to negate custody and the abductor is welcome to return to the United States with U.S.-born children claiming he now has custody because of the Hague.

I have begged the Office of Children's Issues in Washington to provide a copy of the Hague Trial that negated my U.S. custody of U.S. born and raised children of whom I am the U.S. citizen mother.

The Office of Children's Issues (FOIA) has refused--or is extremely slow--to give me my file as of December 2007, and they cannot provide me with a Hague case number. They claim they do not keep trial docket numbers and merely refer to children's names.

The documents that the F.B.I. claim to be a Hague clearly state the Italian judges refused to invoke Hague articles and that it was not a Hague trial. One of my four graduate degrees is in Italian; therefore, I am capable of reading both the original Italian documents and the U.S. State Department translations. Magdalena Kleim, Dr. Gebhardt's assistant, also confirmed a Hague Trial had never occurred and that I had continuing primary-joint custody in the U.S.

Once the F.B.I. spreads misinformation to U.S. Congress members, news media, and non profits that wish to help, it becomes daunting to set everyone straight. Thus, I have to post my custody contract online and await the alleged Hague docket numbers.

Coming soon: Video and book....
